Leaving behind both the comforts and distractions of home and everyday life, Goddess, the self-titled debut album was recorded in four days within a secluded cabin in rural Ohio. Built on experimental improvisation, each track was recorded in one take performed by Osea Merdis and Anthony Rowe. From this exercise in isolation grew an elemental trip in lush, beautiful, heavy and primal sounds. Soothing and visceral, all at once. Blurring the lines between otherworldly and very grounded to a specific time and place. A nod to the past, a glance at the future, and more than anything, an embodiment of now.
